Uptron Acl Penalised By Consumer Forum

A city consumer court has penalised computer training institute Uptron ACL for delays in conducting examinations and awarding certificates to students.

The New Delhi Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum has directed Uptron to pay Rs 15,000 to each of the three complainants as compensation for deficiency in service.

The forum also ordered Uptron's franchisee to pay Rs 20,000 to each of the students.

Besides compensation, the forum also directed the computer training institute to pay Rs 2,000 each to the three complainants as litigation cost.
