Wall St rallies; ADRs move up

The Wall Street ended with significant gains. The Dow Jones industrial average soared 88 points to 12,622. The Nasdaq rallied 35 points to 2466.

Indian ADRs also ended with smart gains. Patni Computers zoomed 4.5% to $23.09. Infosys, Wipro, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, VSNL and Dr.Reddy's gained around 1-2% each. Tata Motors, however, shed 2.7% to $21.18.
