Alok Misra to be CMD of Bank of India

The government today appointed Alok Kumar Misra as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bank of India.

Misra, who till now was CMD of Oriental Bank of Commerce, will succeed T S Nayaransami, who retired earlier this year.

He was heading Oriental Bank of Commerce since June 2007.
