Andhra Bank also in race for United Western

Andhra Bank too has joined the race for acquiring United Western Bank.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, the bank's board have expressed their expression of interest for taking over United Western Bank, which was placed under moratorium on Saturday.

Others in race are, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank and Canara Bank.
