Forex reserves up $3.6bn at $270bn

Foreign exchange reserves increased $3.663 billion to $270.181 billion for the week ended November 9, according to data released by the RBI today.

Foreign currency assets were up $3.659 billion at $261.923 billion.

Gold reserves and SDRs were unchanged at $7.811 billion and $13 million, respectively.

Reserve Position in the IMF was up $4 million at $434 million.
