RBI to conduct additional MSF

As the liquidity conditions are expected to tighten on account of advance tax payments commencing from mid-December, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decided to offer funds to banks for two days through the Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) on Saturday.

The MSF window will remain open between 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm and the due date for repayment will be Monday. Other terms and conditions remain unchanged, said RBI.
