Re nudges ahead to 43.49/$

The rupee gave up most early gains to end just above a near two-week closing low today.

The rupee ended at 43.49/$, off a morning high of 43.40/$ but slightly above the previous day's finish of 43.50/$ its lowest close since May 3.
