Re zooms past 41/$, ends at 40.91/$

The rupee zoomed past the 41 per dollar for the first time in nine years today on robust inflows.

The rupee ended at 40.91 per dollar after trading at a high of 40.85 and the previous close of 41.12 per dollar.
