The Bank of China wants to make a comeback in India. A delegation of the bank arrived in India last week to meet the senior officials in the ministry of finance as well as the Reserve Bank of India, reportedly to discuss opening a branch. The interesting point about these negotiations is that Bank of China was asked to leave India after the Indo-China war and it still owes India about a crore of rupees since those days.
