S C Kalia takes over as Union Bank ED

State-run Union Bank of India today announced the appointment of Subhash Chander Kalia as its Executive Director.

Prior to this, Kalia was serving as the Executive Director of Vijaya Bank. He has also worked with Bank of Baroda in various capacities, a release said.

Kalia was instrumental in setting up of Bank of Baroda's Joint Ventures -- Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company and Baroda L & G Life Insurance Company, it added.
