State Bank of India has launched its Agriculture Debt Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme-2008 in Jamli village near Indore.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>SBI Chairman O P Bhatt, who launched the programme distributed fresh loan eligibility certificates to 21 farmers. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>"Farmers need not apply for debt waiver. Instead, the bank will approach them and issue certificates," he said. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>The Bhopal circle of the bank has to waive loans of 180,000 farmers in MP and 67,000 farmers in Chhattisgarh. Bhatt also said that farmers will get fresh loans for the ensuing kharif season. </P></p></table>
