Vijaya Bank Q1 net drops 72%

Vijaya Bank today reported a 72% decline in net profit at Rs 27.56 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2005 as against Rs 97.55 crore in Q1FY05.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 657.78 crore in Q1FY06 from Rs 610.50 crore in Q1FY05.
