Vijaya Bank raises deposit rates

Vijaya Bank has raised interest rates on medium and long term domestic deposits by quarter to half a percentage point. The bank will now offer 6.5% interest rate on one to less than two years deposits (up from 6.25%); 6.75% (6.25% earlier) on two to less than three years deposits and 7% (6.5% earlier) on deposits of more than three years.
