The Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers Shri Ananth Kumar received a letter committing a donation of ten crore rupees towards Swach Bharat from Indian Farmer's Fertilizers Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) in New Delhi this evening. Speaking on the occasion he said IFFCO is committed to making such donation every year as the campaign envisioned by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi proposes separate toilets for girls in every school of the country.
Presenting the letter the CMD & CEO of the IFFCO Dr. U.S. Awasthi said that all the five crore members of the IFFCO are committed to the Swach Bharat Campaign as proposed by the Prime Minister.
Secretary Department Fertilizers Shri Jugal Kishore Mohapatra, and other officials of the ministry were also present.
