Near pre-crisis high

After more than five years of financial turmoil, some stock markets are back to, or close to, their pre-crisis levels. Stock markets rose until mid- to late-2007, and even into 2008, before the severity of the financial crisis hit them; their troughs were recorded in early 2009. (Click on graphic)
