US President Barack Obama is looking forward to his meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the Oval Office during which the two leaders are expected to discuss a wide range of regional and bilateral issues, the White House said today.
"He (Obama) very much looks forward to the meeting," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters at his daily news conference, on the eve of Singh's arrival in the American capital.
"He looks forward to having a discussion about all of the issues and shared objectives that the United States and India have," Carney said.
Singh is scheduled to arrive in Washington tomorrow and meet Obama at the White House on Friday.
The two leaders are expected to discuss a wide range of bilateral and regional issues, officials from both sides said.
