Coke to rejig operational setup

Coca-Cola India is planning an organisational revamp including a raft of new appointments at various managerial levels. The move is aimed at realigning the subsidiary with the global strategies of its parent.
 
Adil Malia, vice-president (HR), Coca-Cola India, said, "We are going through a process of transforming operations to align India operations with the global system. This will involve reframing, restructuring, revitalising and renewal of our operational setup."
 
The Indian bottling operations are now managed directly by the company through the bottling investments group, headed by Irial Finan, the president of the group.
 
John Ustas was appointed chief operating officer of the bottling operations. In India, Atul Singh was appointed chief operating officer of the division.
 
Some of the new appointments already made include Roger Ford as CFO and vice-president, finance, division operations, Coca-Cola India; Ravi Prakash as director, finance; and Vikas Gupta as vice-president, marketing.
