Hero Mindline to up offshore training services in Middle East

Hero Mindmine, part of the $ 2.2- billion Hero Group, expects to increase its offshore training services in the Middle East countries. The training solutions company is also in the process of starting an on-site project in Abu Dhabhi.
 
Addressing mediapersons, Asheesh Gupta, business head, Hero Mindmine, said that the company was moving towards providing corporate training services not only in India but also in the international markets too.
 
The company has undertaken a programme for the government of Oman which is currently underway in Chennai.
 
Hero Mindmine had recently signed an agreement to train Omani nationals for a period of one year in the area of customer service, sales and communication skills.
 
The training will be based on experimental learning, customised programme tailored to their specific needs coupled with rigorous testing and assessments.
 
Gupta said, "We will become a training powerhouse in Asia Pacific by the year 2007, a single partner to our clients for all learning and development needs."
 
The Indian corporate training market is estimated to be about Rs 2,500 crore.
 
Hero Mindmine focuses on the six sectors, namely, telecom, information technology and IT enabled services, FMCG, banking and finance, manufacturing and public sector.
