Hero Mindline to up offshore training services in Middle East

| Hero Mindmine, part of the $ 2.2- billion Hero Group, expects to increase its offshore training services in the Middle East countries. The training solutions company is also in the process of starting an on-site project in Abu Dhabhi. |
| Addressing mediapersons, Asheesh Gupta, business head, Hero Mindmine, said that the company was moving towards providing corporate training services not only in India but also in the international markets too. |
| The company has undertaken a programme for the government of Oman which is currently underway in Chennai. |
| Hero Mindmine had recently signed an agreement to train Omani nationals for a period of one year in the area of customer service, sales and communication skills. |
| The training will be based on experimental learning, customised programme tailored to their specific needs coupled with rigorous testing and assessments. |
| Gupta said, "We will become a training powerhouse in Asia Pacific by the year 2007, a single partner to our clients for all learning and development needs." |
| The Indian corporate training market is estimated to be about Rs 2,500 crore. |
| Hero Mindmine focuses on the six sectors, namely, telecom, information technology and IT enabled services, FMCG, banking and finance, manufacturing and public sector. |
