IIM Ahmedabad will conduct a programme on "Enhancing Leadership Capabilities and Potential among Professional Women".

The programme aims at enhancing leadership capacities and potential, addressing power and authority issues and liberating oneself from any gender entrapments.

Coach: Prof Neharika Vohra
Players: Women in leadership position in government, corporate sector, institutions or self-employed.

The programme will be held at the IIM-A campus from July 25-28 and fee is Rs 30,000 (US$ 850 for participants from other countries).

IIM-C's advanced mngt programme

IIM Calcutta will hold an Advanced Management Programme (AMP) in two modules for the year 2006.

The programme aims to provide an opportunity for experienced managers to develop necessary skills for managing firms effectively, to develop skills in diverse functional areas of management and also to understand global trends which are shaping corporate strategy today.

Module I will be a two-week on-campus programme held on August 21- September 2 and module II will be 12-day foreign study visits held in September 16-28.

Strategic alliances

The Indian School of Business will hold a programme on 'Strategic Alliance' for managers of firms operating in India to understand the strategic and operational aspect of pursuing alliance-based strategies.

Players: CEOs, SBU heads and other senior managers who are involved in any aspect relating to planning, forging, negotiating, structuring, and managing alliances.

IIM Calcutta will hold a programme in "Negotiating Your Way to Success". The programme aims at teaching managers the dynamics of negotiating, understand negotiating strategies and learn the behaviour skills for negotiating their way to success.

Players: For managers with 5-7 years of experience- be it in the private/public sector organizations, multinational companies or government organizations.

The programme will be held at the IIM-C campus from August 7 - 11 and the fee is Rs 24,000.

IIM-I: How to create successful products

IIM Indore will be conducting a programme on "Creating successful new products". The programme aims at giving practical a advice on how a company can be more innovative, discover new opportunities and translate these opportunities into new successful products or services.

The players: Middle and senior level officers from both private and public sector organizations.

The programme will be held at IIM I campus from August 21-23 and the fee is Rs 12,000 per participant
