Almond futures decline on increased supply

In range-bound trading, almond prices declined by Rs 1.75 to Rs 327.50 per kg in futures trade today on increased arrivals in the physical market following better crops this season.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, almond for September month fell by Rs 1.75, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 327.50 per kg with an open interest of 53 lots.
Marketmen said increased supply in the spot market against subdued demand mainly led to fall in almond prices at the futures trade.
