Bank Stocks Lose Steam

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex ended the last trading day of the week in the negative territory.

In another volatile trading session, the Sensex was up by almost 22 points, before closing 17.55 points lower at 3,622.34.

Meanwhile, at the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the S&P CNX Nifty index ended 6.20 points lower at 1,138.45.
