Brokers File Mercy Petition With Sebi
More than 300 brokers from the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) today filed a mercy petition with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi). The petition highlighted the various issues affecting brokers in the secondary market.
Addressing the agitating brokers, Deena Mehta, former BSE governing member said,
