Cardamom remains weak on profit booking

Cardamom prices fell by Rs 13.20 to Rs 1,028 per kg in futures trade today on continued profit bookings by speculators at higher levels amid subdued demand in the spot market.
Marketmen said increased arrivals from producing regions also put pressure on cardamom futures prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, cardamom for October contract delivery declined by Rs 13.20, or 1.26 per cent, to Rs 1,028 per kg, with a business turnover of 83 lots.
Similarly, cardamom futures for November delivery eased by Rs 12.40, or 1.22 per cent, to Rs 1,002 per kg, with a trading volume of 33 lots.
The spice for December contract delivery moved down by Rs 11.90, or 1.20 per cent, to Rs 982.50 per kg, with a trading volume of four lots.
