Gains intact; Rel Infra zooms 9%

The Nifty is up 82 points at 4,007.

Reliance Infrastructure has zoomed 9% to Rs 786. Jaiprakash Associates has soared 8.5% to Rs 150, and DLF has surged over 8% to Rs 413.

BHEL has rallied 4.5% to Rs 1,500. Reliance Communicaitons has added 6.7% to Rs 416.

Larsen & Toubro has gained 4.7% at Rs 2,340. ITC has moved up 4% to Rs 176.

Tata Steel has dropped 3.3% to Rs 636. Cipla is down over 1% at Rs 209.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,509 stocks traded, 1,431 have advanced, 999 declined.
