Gujarat Gas up on solid numbers

Gujarat Gas Company gained 10.69 per cent to Rs 339.05 on strong volumes of 1.15 lakh shares. The stock had opened at Rs 313.

The company's net profit in the third quarter rose 82.8 per cent to Rs 33.92 crore compared with the corresponding quarter last year, on 35 per cent rise in sales to Rs 275.68 crore.

The company announced the results after the market hours on October 24. The stock is up by 15.13 per cent in the last one week.
