Gur ends flat on lack of buying support

The wholesale gur (jaggery) prices closed on a flat note in the national capital today, following sufficient stocks position against ongoing seasonal demand.
Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also ended unchanged on narrow trading activity.
Market analysts said lack of buying support and restricted supply, mainly held gur prices to trade around overnight levels.
Following were today's quotations in Rs per quintal.
Chakku Rs 2,450-2,500, pedi 2,450-2,500, Dhayya Rs 2,450-2,500 and Shakkar Rs 2,700-2,750.
In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,900-1,975, chakku Rs 2,250-2,350 and Khurpa Rs 2,100-2,175.
In Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,200-2,250 and Dhaya Rs 2,250-2,300.
