HDFC, Reliance gain 3%; DLF drops 3%

The NSE Nifty is up 18 points at 4,271.

HDFC has rallied over 3% to Rs 2,237. Satyam and Reliance have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 458 and Rs 2,195,  respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates and ONGC have gained 2.4% each at Rs 158 and Rs 884, respectively.

ITC has advanced over 2% to Rs 190. Infosys and HDFC Bank has added 1.7% each to Rs 1,780 and Rs 1,093, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and Reliance Infrastructure are up 1.5% each at Rs 2,349 and Rs 963, respectively.

DLF has slumped 3% to Rs 444.

NTPC, Reliance Communications and Maruti have dropped 2% each to Rs 154, Rs 498 and Rs 680, respectively.

 

Bharti Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors have declined nearly 2% each to Rs 766, Rs 530 and Rs 466, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever and Hindalco are down over 1.5% each at Rs 213 and Rs 146, respectively.
