Hero Honda accelerates on upbeat Q2 expectations

The Hero Honda scrip was up 3 per cent to Rs.716.55 on hopes of good second quarter results.

The company's board will meet on the 20th of October 2005 to consider their Q2 results. Hero Honda posted a 21 per cent growth in motorcycle sales in Q2 September 2005 on the back of strong rural sales.

Total income rose 30.3 per cent to Rs 2003.15 crore from Rs 1536.52 crore.
