June Futures Drop

Backwardation (discount) in Nifty futures continued on Monday. June futures fell 4 points to 1041.65, while the NSE S&P CNX Nifty settled at 1051.80.

July futures eased 3.05 points to 1039.40. Volumes, however, continued to decline. Nifty futures saw 14, 698 contracts being traded, generating a turnover of Rs 305.92 crore.
