KEC International zooms on orders worth Rs 602 crore
Company bags orders from Power Grid Corp and clients in Philippines and Americas

Shares of KEC International zoomed nearly 8% to Rs 73.60 after the company, in a release to the Bombay Stock Exchange, said it has orders worth Rs 602 crore from domestic and international clients.
In the tranmission business, the company has secure order worth Rs 114 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India. Among foreign orders, the company has won an order worth Rs 38 crore from National Grid Corporation of the Philippines while its tower susbidiary SAE Towers has won orders worth Rs 174 crore in the Americas.
In the railway business, the company has secured an order worth Rs 162 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. The copany has also bagged orders worth Rs 114 crore to supply power and telecom cables.
Over 1 million shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
