aCC has moved up 5.5% to Rs 543. Mahindra & Mahindra, SBI and BHEL have added 5% each to Rs 519, Rs 1,196 and Rs 1,449, respectively.
Satyam and TCS are up around 4.5% each at Rs 413 and Rs 761, respectively.
Ranbaxy has shed 3.7% at Rs 453, and Tata Steel has slipped 2.3% to Rs 611.
