TCS has zoomed 6.3% to Rs 774. HDFC and HDFC Bank have soared 5.5% each to Rs 1,817 and Rs 953, respectively.
Reliance Infrastructure has surged 4.8% to Rs 802. Jaiprakash Associates, DLF and ICICI Bank have rallied 4.5% each to Rs 143, Rs 412 and Rs 542, respectively.
Satyam has gained 3.7% at Rs 409. SBI, Maruti, Larsen & Toubro and Wipro have moved up 3.3% each to Rs 1,177, Rs 566, Rs 2,345 and Rs 383, respectivey.
Mahindra & Mahindra and ACC have advanced 3% each to Rs 509 and Rs 530, respectively.
Bharti Airtel and ONGC are up 2.8% each at Rs 751 and Rs 891, respectively.
Ranbaxy is down almost 1% at Rs 467.
