			The markets have opened flat this morning, tracking slightly negative opening on SGX Nifty and mixed set of cues on the Asian front. The Sensex is quoting at 22783, higher by 18 points and the Nifty is at 6819, up one point. The broader markets are doing better; the midcap index is at 7426, higher by 25 points and the smallcap index is at 7667, up 39 points.</div>

			Tata Power has edged higher by 0.4% at Rs 83 in wake of the fact that its Rs 2,000 crore rights issue has been oversubscribed by nearly two times. Tata Power had offered up to 33 crore equity shares at a price of Rs 60 per share for an amount aggregating to Rs 1,993.38 crore on a rights basis, which closed on April 15, to the existing shareholders.</div>

			Biocon is trading virtually unchanged at Rs 499. The stock had soared by 9% on Monday to touch a record high on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on speculation that the company is slated to announce a major drug discovery.&nbsp;</div>
