Masoor eases on slack demand

In limited deals, masoor small prices declined by Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today owing to slack demand against adequate stocks.

Other commodities, however, remained unaltered on less activity. Marketmen said adequate stocks position against fall in demand mainly led to a decline in wholesale masoor and its dal prices.

Masoor small and bold prices declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,250-3,450 and Rs 3,450-3,700, while its dal local and best quality traded lower by the same margin to Rs 3,900-4,000 and Rs 4,200-4,500 per quintal.
