Moong, masoor fall on sluggish demand

Moong and masoor prices fell upto Rs 200 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on sluggish demand. Marketmen said sufficient stocks position, against sluggish demand at existing higher levels, put pressure on moong and masoor prices.
Moong and its dal chilka local suffered a setback of Rs 200 each to Rs 5,800-6,100, Rs 6,500-6,900, while dhoya local and best quality traded at Rs 6,600-6,800 and Rs 7,000-7,200 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,250- 3,450 and Rs 3,450-3,700 and its dal local and best quality lost Rs 50 each at Rs 3,950-4,050 and Rs 4,250-4,550 per quintal.
