Mentha oil rises on pick-up in spot demand
Prices rose as participants increased holdings

Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 14.40 to Rs 937 per kg in futures trade today after participants increased holdings, tracking a firm spot as well as export demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the June contract rose by Rs 14.40, or 1.56%, to Rs 937 per kg in 659 lots.
The July contract increased by Rs 11, or 1.18%, to Rs 941.80 per kg in 59 lots.
Marketmen said a firming trend at the spot markets on rising spot and export demand, mainly influenced mentha oil prices at futures trade here.
