Rajmah weakens in thin trade

In thin trading, rajmah prices moved down by Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on subdued demand against adequate stocks.   

Market analysts said sluggish demand against easy availability of stocks led to the decline in rajmah chitra prices.

In the national capital, rajmah chitra Pune, China and red varieties were down by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,400-3,800, Rs 3,500-4,000 and Rs 3,750-3,850 per quintal, respectively.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Urad 4,000-4,400, Urad chilka (local) 4,900-5,300, best 5,400-5,900, Dhoya 5,350-5,450, Moong 4,075-5,075, Dal moong chilka local 5,100-5,500, Moong Dhoya local 5,400-5,600 and best quality 6,000-6,200

 

Masoor small 3,000-3,200, bold 3,150-3,400, Dal Masoor local 3,550-3,650, best quality 3,850-4,150, Malka local 3,500-3,550, best 3,650-3,750, Moth 1,850-2,150, Arhar 3,400-3,900, dal arhar dara 5,000-5,400

Gram 2,400-2,425, gram dal (local) 2,750-2,765, best quality 2,850-2,950, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,150, Rajdhani 1,150, Rajmah chitra Pune 3,400-3,800, China 3,500-4,000, red 3,750-3,850
