Sugar ends quiet on some support

Sugar prices ended on a steady note in the national capital today following adequate stocks against ongoing demand.

Market analysts said adequate stocks position following fresh supply from mills to meet the ongoing summer season demand mainly kept sugar prices unaltered.

Following were today's quotation in Rs per quintal.

Sugar ready M-30 2,920-3,020 and S-30 2,890-3,010
Mill delivery M-30 2,710-2,900 and S-30 2,680-2,880
