Refined soya oil futures rise on spot demand

In restricted activity, refined soya oil futures prices edged higher by Rs 2.85 to Rs 631.95 per 10 kg today on firm spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for March contract rose by Rs 2.85, or 0.45 per cent, to Rs 631.95 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of just two lots.  

Analysts said pick up in demand in the spot market helped refined soya oil prices to trade higher at futures market here.
