Select base metals eases on subdued trade

Copper scrap heavy, zinc and lead prices softened in an otherwise sluggish non-ferrous metal market here today due to mild offtake from industrial users.

While, copper sheet cutting inched up on better demand consumer industries. Copper scrap heavy, zinc and lead looked down by a rupee per kg each to Rs 466, Rs 128 and Rs 125 respectively. 

However, copper sheet cutting gained by a rupee per kg to Rs 448 from Rs 447 yesterday.
