Prices of select edible oils declined by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale oil and oilseeds market today due to sluggish demand amid weak global cues.
Traders said sluggish demand at prevailing levels and reports of weakening global trend mainly led to the fall in select wholesale edible oil prices. In the national capital, mustard expeller oil (Dadri) declined by Rs 50 to Rs 5,700 per quintal.
Mustard pakki and kachi ghani oils traded lower by Rs 5 each to Rs 750-905 and Rs 905-1,005 per tin. Sesame and cottonseed mill delivery (Haryana) oils fell by Rs 20 and Rs 50 to Rs 6,180 and Rs 5,450 per quintal.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soya bean degum (Kandla) oils drifted by Rs 20 each to Rs 6,200 and Rs 5,810, while palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils lost Rs 20 each to Rs 5,680 and Rs 5,380 per quintal, respectively.
