Selling continues: Sensex slips over 300pts, ITC gains 2%

The Sensex continues to slip deeper into red on the back of unabated selling in the market. The index is now down 315 points at 13,232.
Ranbaxy has slumped 5.7% to Rs 279, and Tata Motors has plunged 4.5% to Rs 367.
DLF, Reliance Communications, ICICI Bank and Hindalco have tumbled over 4% each to Rs 373, Rs 350, Rs 572 and Rs 100, respectively.
HDFC Bank, HDFC and Sterlite have shed over 3.5% each at Rs 1,250, Rs 2,088 and Rs 460, respectively.
Reliance Infrastructure, BHEL, Tata Steel and Mahindra & Mahindra have slipped 3.3% each to Rs 848, Rs 1,579, Rs 469 and Rs 541, respectively.

ONGC and Larsen & Toubro are down 3% each at Rs 1,038 and Rs 2,490, respectively.
ITC has surged nearly 2% to Rs 192.
Out of 2,436 stocks traded so far, 1,836 have declined, 517 have advanced and 83 are unchanged.
