Sensex down 211pts; Jaiprakash slips 4.5%

The NSE Nifty is down 63 points at 5,094.

Jaiprakash Associates has tumbled 4.5% to Rs 258.

Reliance Infrastructure and Bharti Airtel have plunged 4% each to Rs 1,399 and Rs 821, respectively.

BHEL and HDFC Bank have declined 3% each to Rs 1,736 and Rs 1,456, respectively.

NTPC is trading at Rs 186 - down 2.5%.

DLF and SBI have slipped 2.3% each at Rs 634 and Rs 1,665, respectively.

Wipro, TCS have dropped 2% each at Rs 496 and Rs 958, respectively.

Cipla, Ambuja Cements & Reliance are down around 1.5% each at Rs 209, Rs 109 and Rs 2,595, respectively.

 

Infosys has gained 1.5% at Rs 1,900. Satyam is up 1.3% at Rs 494.

Tata Motors has added 0.8% at Rs 675.
