Sensex down 32pts; HDFC advances 2%

The Sensex is now down 32 points at 13,617.

Hero Honda has shed 2.7% to Rs 687. ICICI Bank and Bajaj Auto have slipped nearly 2% each to Rs 889 and Rs 2,765, respectively.

ONGC, HDFC Bank, HLL and Tata Motors are the other major losers.

HDFC has advanced over 2% to Rs 1,637. Tata Steel, Grasim and Maruti are up over 1% each at Rs 475, Rs 2,369 and Rs 883, respectively.

Out of 1,977 stocks traded so far, 1,272 have advanced, 663 have declined and 42 are unchanged.
