Sensex down 386pts; Bharti tumbles 6%

The Sensex is now down 386 points at 13,635.

ACC and Grasim have shed 6% each to Rs 906 and Rs 2,272, respectively. Gujarat Ambuja has dropped 4.3% to Rs 121.

Bharti Airtel has tumbled 5.6% to Rs 757. Wipro and Dr.Reddy's have slumped nearly 5% each to Rs 622 and Rs 677, respectively.

ICICI Bank has declined 4.6% to Rs 905. ITC, HDFC Bank and HDFC are down around 4% each at Rs 167, Rs 951 and Rs 1,600, respectively.

Out of 2,633 stocks traded so far, 2,236 have declined, 357 have advanced and 40 are unchanged.
