Sensex down 44pts; Bharti Airtel gains 2%

The NSE Nifty is down 15 points at 5,066.

Bharti Airtel has surged 2% to Rs 844. DLF has moved up 1.4% to Rs 653.

HDFC has shed 1.3% at Rs 2,685. BHEL, Jaiprakash Associates and ICICI Bank have slipped over 1% each to Rs 1,740, Rs 266 and Rs 882, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever and Tata Steel are the other prominent losers.
