Sensex down 48pts; Hero Honda, Bharti up

The Sensex is now down 48 points at 14,205.

HLL has shed 2% to Rs 196. Satyam and Infosys have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 470 and Rs 2,329, respectively.

Cipla, Ranbaxy, ACC, BHEL, Reliance Communications and Reliance Energy are down over 1% to Rs 251, Rs 391, Rs 1,003, Rs 2,338, Rs 448 and Rs 516, respectively.

Hero Honda and Bharti Airtel are up over 1% each at Rs 724 and Rs 799, respectively.

The market breadth is negative - out of 2,108 stocks traded so far, 1,134 have declined, 903 have advanced and 71 were unchanged.
