Sensex down 62pts; Hero Honda, Bharti firm

The Sensex is now down 62 points at 14,191.

Hero Honda has rallied 3.3% to Rs 740, and Bharti Airtel has surged over 2% to Rs 808. Tata Steel has moved up 1.7% to Rs 452.

Hindalco, HDFC and Gujarat Ambuja are up over 1% each at Rs 150, Rs 1,670 and Rs 131, respectively.

Ranbaxy and Satyam have slipped around 3% each to Rs 383 and Rs 463, respectively. Infosys and HLL has dropped over 2% each to Rs 2,314 and Rs 196, respectively.

BHEL has shed 1.5% to Rs 2,327.

Out of 2,622 stocks traded so far, 1,485 have declined, 1,058 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
