Sensex ends down 7pts at 12,366

The Sensex opened with a negative gap of 37 points at 12,336, and dropped to a low of 12,261 in morning deals.  Buying in tech scrips, especially Infosys, saw the index recoup the loss and zoom to a high of 12,430 in noon deals.

Profit-taking at higher levels saw the Sensex finally close with a loss of 7 points at 12,366.
