Sensex in red; RCOm, SBI slip 3%

The NSE Nifty is down 22 points at 4,455.

TCS has slumped 6.8% to Rs 800, and Infosys has plunged 6.4% to Rs 1,501. Satyam and Wipro have shed 3% each at Rs 366 and Rs 396, respectively.

Reliance Communications (RCom) has tumbled over 3% to Rs 509. SBI has slipped 2.8% to Rs 1,500.

Tata Steel has dropped 2.5% to Rs 650. BHEL and NTPC are down around 2% each at Rs 1,734 and Rs 187, respectively.

DLF has surged over 3% to Rs 511. ONGC has rallied 2.7% to Rs 1,022.

Grasim, Maruti and HDFC Bank have advanced 1.6% each to Rs 1,861, Rs 617 and Rs 1,225, respectively.

 

Mahindra & Mahindra has moved up 1.5% to Rs 562. Tata Motors and Reliance Infrastructure are up 1% each at Rs 442 and Rs 1,026, respectively.
